Screen Recorder | How to Record and Specify the Recording Area

We will show you how to record only a part of the screen using the screen recorder – ZEUS RECORD.

Record with area customization

Step 1: Launch the product and click to open the Record tab

Under the “Record” menu screen, click the “Record” button, and select “Region” from the option list.

Step 2: Enter the area selection mode.

Depending on the location of the mouse cursor, the window size, etc. are automatically selected.
If only the video part is not recognized automatically, you can specify the area manually.

Step 3: Manually select the range by dragging.

Start first in the upper left corner of the area.
With the loupe function, the area around the mouse cursor is enlarged, so move the mouse to the perfect position.
A little margin is left here for clarity.

Step 4: Drag to select area

Drag from the upper left of the area to move the mouse to the lower right.

Step 5: The recording area is selected

When you finish dragging at the bottom right, the range is temporarily set. The background changes from black to gray.

The set range can be fine-tuned by moving the □ in the four corners and the center of each side with the mouse. In addition, the width and height can be adjusted numerically (pixels).

After completing the area setting, click the “OK” button to start recording.
